How to Submit a Change Request with BCK

Keeping your website fresh, accurate, and up to date is essential. Whether you’re announcing new hours, updating products, or refreshing content, consistent information across your website and online listings (like Google, Yelp, or Facebook) helps your customers trust what they see and find you more easily.

At BCK, we are always ready to make updates of any kind to help your business stay in sync with your goals and your audience.

Here is how simple it is to request a change:

Step 1: Let Us Know What You Need

When sending a request, the more detail you can provide, the faster and more accurately we can complete the update. A few examples:

  • Product Updates: Include the product name or SKU, and describe what needs to be changed such as price, description, or images.
  • Content Changes: Let us know the page title or URL, the section title, and what edits you would like us to make.
  • New Content: If you have new content to add, you can tell us where you would like it to appear. If you’re not sure, just let us know the purpose of the content and we will find the best location for it.

If you would like to review the changes before they go live, or if they need to be published immediately, just mention that in your message. Also, please share any time constraints you may have so we can do our best to meet your timeline.

Step 2: Send Your Request

You can use whichever communication method works best for you. Most clients send change requests via text, email, or directly through the BCK Dashboard.

As soon as we receive your request, we will open a change ticket and begin reviewing it. You will be notified once it is in progress.

Step 3: We’ll Handle the Update

Once we have what we need, we will get to work. Most requests are completed within 1 to 3 business days, although this can vary depending on the scope of the change or overall workload.

After the update is completed, we will notify you. In some cases, if the update is more complex or falls within an industry that requires compliance checks, we may reach out for final confirmation before the change is made live.

If you requested to review the update beforehand, we will send you a preview for approval first.


Support Plan Coverage

Work completed as part of a change request is covered by your BCK Support Plan for the number of hours included in your plan. If your account does not currently have a support plan, any work hours required to complete the request may be billed at your standard hourly rate.

We recommend reviewing your plan details beforehand to ensure you are familiar with what is included. If you have any questions about your coverage, please reach out and we will be happy to walk you through it.

“Hi BCK! I’d like to update the product titled ‘Summer Breeze Candle’ (SKU 1045). Please change the description to highlight that it’s hand-poured and now includes a wood wick. Also, update the price to $18. Please publish this by Friday if possible.”

Another example would be:

“Hey BCK! We’ve updated our business hours and need them changed on the website. The new hours are:

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
